The Montgomery County Community Growers invites the public to attend a presentation on “Fall Vegetable Gardening”, on June 16, 2026, 6:00 pm, at the Crawfordsville District Public Library. The speaker for the event will be Crawfordsville resident and home gardener, Kathy Brown.

The first 25 people to arrive at the talk will receive a gift basket of seeds that are appropriate for planting this summer for fall harvest. There will also be a drawing for a door prize donated by Sustainable Initiatives of Montgomery County.

Whether you’re brand new to gardening and don’t want to wait until next spring to get started, or you have a thriving summer garden that you want to keep going into fall, this presentation will help you figure out what to plant, when to plant it, and how to keep it growing even after the weather cools down!
